1. Who We Are

Image2Lottie is a free online tool operated by Daniil Chebotarev ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Switzerland at Bucheggstrasse 21, 8037 Zürich, Switzerland.

This Privacy Notice explains what data we collect when you use Image2Lottie, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

Image2Lottie is designed with privacy as a default. We do not:

  • Require you to create an account or provide any personal information
  • Collect identifying details to use the local tools; optional sign-in uses our account provider
  • Upload local image sequences or compressed assets; server SVG processing and optional account saving are described below
  • Sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes

Image sequences, Lottie preview, editing, and batch image compression run locally in your browser. A single animated SVG is sent to our server for conversion. If you choose Save to account, the exported file is uploaded and stored for later access.

3. Server Processing and Account Saving

When you convert an animated SVG, its content is sent to our server to translate its existing animation into Lottie keyframes. This conversion does not use an AI provider.

If you choose Save to account, the exported file and its metadata are stored for later access. You can manage saved files from your account.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Service. All non-essential cookies are controlled by your consent, managed through our Cookiebot consent banner.

Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the consent management system to function. They store your cookie preferences so we can respect them on future visits. These cookies are set regardless of your consent choice.

  • Cookiebot — stores your cookie consent preferences (CookieConsent cookie)

Statistics Cookies (with your consent)

These cookies collect anonymous information about how you use the Service to help us understand which features are popular and how to improve them.

  • Google Analytics (GA4, tag ID: G-7XPXQE69E1) — collects anonymized usage statistics such as pages visited, session duration, and geographic region. IP anonymization is enabled. No personally identifiable data is collected.
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM-PD3MC2TN) — manages the loading of analytics scripts based on your consent

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can review and update your cookie choices at any time by clicking the cookie icon in the corner of the page to reopen the Cookiebot consent banner. Analytics cookies are only activated after you grant consent. By default, all non-essential cookies are denied.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Service:

Vercel Web Analytics

Used to measure page visits and navigation between tools without cookies. Uploaded files and animation contents are not included in these analytics. See Vercel's Web Analytics privacy information.

Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager

Used for anonymized usage analytics. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Only activated with your consent.

Cookiebot (Usercentrics)

Used to manage cookie consent in compliance with GDPR and other privacy regulations. Governed by Cookiebot's Privacy Policy.

Hosting Provider

The Service is hosted on infrastructure that may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used for profiling or tracking.

6. Data Retention

We do not retain any personal data or uploaded files. Analytics data collected by Google Analytics is retained according to Google's standard data retention settings (default: 14 months). Cookie consent records managed by Cookiebot are retained for 12 months from the date of consent.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under applicable data protection law:

  • Right to access — request confirmation of what data we hold about you
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of any data we hold about you
  • Right to object — object to processing of your data for analytics purposes
  • Right to withdraw consent — change your cookie preferences at any time via the Cookiebot banner

Since we do not collect personal data directly, most of these rights are exercised via our third-party providers (Google, Cookiebot). To exercise any right, contact us at the address below and we will assist you.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the Service, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

9. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time by posting a revised version with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated notice.
